Arrival & Departure Information:
•Check-in time is 4:00pm.
•Check-out time is 10:00am.
•Office hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday through Saturday. Should you arrive after hours your keys will be in a lock-box outside of the office and you will be provided a code. Please let us know if you will be arriving outside of posted hours.
•Early arrivals and late departures are only allowed with approval from the management. Guests departing after 10:00am without approval will be charged a full days rent and taxes.
•Please be sure to check your apartment or villa upon departure for personal items. Management is not responsible for any items left behind.
•Management reserves the right to assign a substitute unit, if necessary. Any other reservation changes must have management approval.
Payments:
•A $500.00 deposit is due at the time the reservation is made. The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.
•Payment can be made by calling the office or sending payment to The Casa Blanca, 6154 Midnight Pass Rd, Siesta Key, FL 34242. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Travelers’ Checks and Cashier’s Checks. Personal checks are accepted up to 21 days prior to the balance due date and are subject to a Returned Check fee.
•Rates are subject to change without notice. Weeks that include Easter and Spring Break have holiday rate increases. There may be an additional Security Fee added during peak occupancy periods.
•Standard rates are based on 2 people per 1-bedroom unit and 4 people per 2-bedroom unit. Extra people over the base limits are subject to a $10 per person per day additional guest fee. Children under two are not subject to this charge. One-bedroom units sleep 2-4 and two-bedroom units sleep 4-6 at the discretion of the owner.
Cancellation Policy:
•Cancellations made 61+ days prior to arrival date will be refunded the $500 deposit LESS a $95 cancellation fee upon written confirmation.
•Cancellations made within 60 days of arrival will not be refunded unless Casa Blanca is able to rent the same unit to another party, for the same dates and price. In that case the full amount will be refunded less a $95 cancellation fee.
•We cannot offer refunds for late arrivals, early departures, man-made disasters or Acts of God such as inclement weather, rain, wind Red Tide and non-mandatory evacuations.
•If a guest requests a change of dates or unit within 60 days of arrival the same policy applies.
•WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND TRIP INSURANCE. We offer trip insurance through Rental Guard or you may obtain your own.
Age Restrictions:
The minimum rental age for the responsible party is 25 years of age. The responsible party must be present at check-in and reside in the unit for the duration of the rental. Proper proof of age is required.
Cleaning and Occupancy Fees:
•Guests are responsible for cleaning fees.
•Guests are responsible for occupancy fees for stays less than 7 nights.
Service and Emotional Support Animal Policies:
•Service Dogs are allowed with prior notification. We ask that you provide the nature of the service for which the dog is trained and supply up-to-date licensing and vaccination records for the dog as allowed by FS 413.08.
•Emotional Support Animals are allowed with prior approval. We require a proof of need from a licensed practitioner or other forms of proof allowed by FS 706.27 (housing approvals, work approvals, etc.) We also require up-to-date licensing and vaccination records for the animal. Certificates printed online are not sufficient proof of need.
•Casa Blanca will supply our complete guidelines upon request.
•Pets are NOT allowed on Casa Blanca property at any time.
Grills:
•Only electric grills are allowed on the Casa Blanca property per the Sarasota Fire Department.
Vehicle Parking:
•Only passenger vehicles are allowed on the property. Motorcycles, campers, trailers and boats are not allowed.
•Renters will receive one parking permit at check-in and it must be always displayed on the vehicle dashboard while on the property. An additional pass MAY be available. Parking space is limited and oversized vehicles may reduce the availability of a second pass.
•Observe the STOP sign by the office and the 10mph speed limit on the property.
Smoking:
•Smoking is not permitted in any rental unit or at the pool. Guests will be charged $250 for any documented incident of smoking inside any unit.
Additional Information
•Casa Blanca supplies kitchen linens, bed linens, bath towels, beach towels, hairdryers and a complimentary starter supply of soap and paper products for all rentals. You will need to bring or purchase additional supplies.
•Quiet hours are 10:00pm to 8:00am.
•Units are privately owned. Please be considerate of the owner’s furnishings. Please do not move furniture, bedding or kitchen items to other units or outside. Please respect locked closets. Long distance calls are not allowed from unit phones (if available.)
•During certain periods wristbands are required for any registered guests over age 2 and MUST be worn. This is to ensure that the facilities are reserved for the exclusive use of our paying guests.
•Turtle Nesting Season is May 1 through October 31st. Please do not use flashlights on the beach, keep beachside unit curtains closed at night and make sure you knock down sand sculptures and fill in holes in the sand when leaving the beach. Never disturb a nest or turtles.
•Beach cabanas are for the use of all guests and cannot be reserved. Beach chairs are first-come and cannot be reserved. Tents, umbrellas and individual cabanas can be rented through Shade 4 Me at 855-742-3346.
•Fireworks, including but not limited to skyrockets, firecrackers, Roman candles and torpedoes are never allowed on the property or beach per FS 91. Sparklers, snappers and party poppers are allowed.
